Ocean Surfing (9 yrs & up)

A fun and dynamic way to learn to surf for all ages! Learn to surf on the easy waves of the world famous Malibu Surfrider Beach or let us sharpen your skills in the big breakwaters of at 3rd point. Instructed by veteran surfers Dustin Bancroft and Tyson Parsons. You will not only learn how to stand but how, when and where to catch the wave. Now is our 15th year we have a 99% success rate. Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 100 yards.

* surfboard rentals are $16 per day. students may split cost by sharing surfboards.

Tyson Parsons has been competing in surf contests for the past 8 years. He started surfing when he was 8 years old and is considered a top local surfer in the Malibu area. Tyson is an outstanding instructor and is pursuing a degree in teaching.

Dustin Bancroft has been an avid surfer and instructor for over 10 years. Surfing has taken him all over the world, to places such as Costa Rica, Fiji, Hawaii and Central Mexico.
